Mongolians have voted president

Leaders of the General Committee of Election of Mongolia held information at 6.00 pm on May 25. The Fifth Presidential Election was held on May 24 and one million 97 thousand electors voted and out of them, 562459 or 51.24 percent to Ts.Elbegdorj from the Democratic Party (DP) and 520805 or 48.28 percent to N.Enkhbayar from the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party (MPRP). In rural areas, Ts.Elbegdorj received 48.28 percent votes and N.Enkhbayar-50.31 percent and Ts.Elbegdorj-55.9 percent and N.Enkhbayar-43.21 percent in UB.
